About Climate Insights
Who we are
Climate Insights is a platform founded by Dr. Linda Krummenauer, a passionate advocate for environmental stewardship and climate action. With a background in Climate Impact Sciences and Geography as well as practical experience in helping banking institutions grasp their risk arising from climate and environmental issues, she brings a unique blend of expertise in quantitative analysis, topical knowledge, methodological skills and consulting experience to unravel the complexities of climate change and its effects.
Linda's research at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research has illuminated the intricate dynamics of human heat adaptation across the globe, at present and in future scenarios. Central to her work is the pivotal question: when does "hot" become too hot? By probing the thresholds at which temperatures induce mortality from heat, she's uncovering vital insights into how communities can adapt to the escalating challenges of climate change.
What we offer
- Keynote Speeches and talks: Engage your audience with thought-provoking presentations on various aspects of climate change, tailored to your organization's needs and interests.
- Quantitative Analysis: Harness the power of data to gain insights into climate trends, risks, and opportunities. From statistical modeling to scenario planning, we offer robust analytical solutions to inform your decision-making process.
- Qualitative Research: Explore and approach various dimensions of climate change through qualitative research insights. We uncover diverse perspectives and narratives to set up your agenda and storylines, identify challenges and inform inclusive solutions towards resilience and adaptation according to your needs.
- Media Requests: Requests on the subject of human health and heat effects are certainly welcome.
